Valley Thaw Out Races - Apr 24
While we wait for the trails to dry in the spring, this family friendly road race is the best place to put down some miles. Grab your friends, family, and cohorts, there is a distance for everyone! Races include a kids Fun Run, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon. All races start and finish at the beautiful Pyrah's Pioneer Peak Farm and give runners a spectacular view of the mountains and surrounding farmlands.
The races continue to be a fundraiser for the MatSu Running Club, a non profit group offering coached running workouts and group runs throughout the spring and summer.

Parking is available at Pyrah's Farm. Please follow parking signs and volunteers.
Aid Stations:
5K - 1 water station
10K - 2 water stations
Half - 2 water stations + 1 full aid
Marathon - 4 water stations + 2 full aid
Swag Deadline:
Register by MARCH 14 to be guaranteed a shirt.
Age Restrictions:
5K/10K - 7yr +
HALF - 10yr +
MARATHON - 14yr +
(any child under 10 MUST have an adult running with them for the duration of the race.)
KIDS - Under 10 (may have chaperone)
Road Restrictions:
Courses are NOT closed to traffic. Runners MUST adhere to rules of the road and MUST run on the shoulder, against traffic at all times.
Absolutely NO dogs or strollers allowed.
