Eklutna IceBreaker - Mar 20
Shake off winter and charge into spring at the Eklutna Lake IceBreaker Run, a lakeside trail race that delivers all the beauty, and all the chaos, of Alaska in March. Come run the frozen shoreline of Eklutna Lake with us on this 10 mile out-and-back course.
Since we all know March in Alaska refuses to pick a season, you can expect a full sampler of winter conditions: packed snow, punchy snow, ice sheets, mashed-potato mush, muddy patches, unexpected sunshine, maybe even that perfect “winter glow” light that makes you forget your toes are cold for exactly half a second. This year we are only offering the 10 mile distance. Race is capped at 100 runners so you'll want to get signed up early!
