Owner, Race Director
Heidi Quinn
"It could probably get worse."

As the founder and RD of Black Wolf Endurance, Heidi is known for her commitment to building races that blur the line between adventure and madness. She can't cook, so hosting dinner parties was never an option, but she can throw her friends a Snickers bar from an aid station and yell at them to run one more loop and that's kind of the same thing.

Media
Xavier Lechleitner
"Will there be snacks?"

Xavier is a dairy farm kid turned washed-up collegiate runner who now stays sane by chasing hills on two wheels. You'll find him in the mountains or on a bike but never a mountain bike. He believes in training hard, suffering joyfully, and rewarding each adventure with an unreasonable amount snacks.

Logistics
Carrie Koso
"If you're lonely when you're alone, you're in bad company."

Over the last few years, Carrie has ascended the ranks of female mountain runners in the state. However, her quick wit and self deprecating humor has solidified her status as an ultra runner. Running the 2025 CCC race probably did too. No one trains harder, reads maps better, or analyzes races more accurately than her.

Merchandise
Deakan Neely
"How many miles did you think I said?"

He may be our youngest team member but Deakan has years of experience in the ultra running cult with multiple 50Ks and a 50 Mile finish by the age of 18, He grew up scavenging snacks at aid stations and enhancing his vocabulary in crew vehicles. Now a college student at UNR, he is able to help remotely until the summer season arrives and he returns to the homeland.

Runner Experience
Rita Allen
"Let it happen."

Rita recently retired from teaching so now instead of taking care of elementary students she helps babysit ultra runners. The job qualifications are shockingly similar. From crew captain, to pacer, to ultra runner, she has mastered all skills necessary to know exactly what our runners need, even if it that's just a hug and a cookie at the finish line.
